Calling all artists for
25th – 27th May Bank Holiday 2013

Following the success of the 4th  Mentmore’s Arts Festival, in St Mary’s Church and the Village Hall, which raised over £5000 for local charities – the organisers have been asked by many of the artists if they can book for 2013! The answer’s yes.

Book now for exhibition space in the Church and Village Hall

If you are a painter, sculptor, photographer or work in wood, glass or ceramics, this is a great opportunity to show and sell your work. Last year we had over 600 visitors and sold just under £5000 worth of art. If you book before 30th April 2013 you will feature within our catalogue and on the website.

Can you help us attract more visitors?

Last year we attracted more visitors than ever, but still need to spread the word wider afield. To attract more visitors and potential buyers we’d like you to help us. We’ll supply you with posters, leaflets and invites to display and give to your family, friends and work colleagues.

Art Classes (details to follow) – or would you like to volunteer – ask for details

As well as our grand prize raffle, children’s art competition and refreshments served in the Village Hall and garden. In 2013 there will be an opportunity to participate in an art class with professional tuition, in previous years this has included Still Life, Portrait and Landscape painting. If you are interested in participating in one of the classes please let us have your contact details and we can forward you the subjects/topics and a registration form. If you are an Artist and would like to help run one of these classes throughout the weekend, for a 1 to 2 hour slot – please call us.
